I like the city.  There's things to do and I don't want everyone knowing about my life.

I live in a small town and I love it, but the town next to use is swallowing us up. It's really pissing me of. Fortunately our town is next to a small forest with a chemitary behind it so it can take away before they put houses and stuff there. And on the otherwise we have businesses. But still: no place like home.    Grin

I grew up in the suburban part of a city.  Now I live in a very small town (population 3-4,000). Anything beyond what we have here is within a 20-30 minute drive.   There are good points and bad to either living situation, but we are quite content living where we are now.

I've been mulling this over for a while, and I think it'd really depend on the small town. How friendly people were and how accepted I felt in the community. And if it was too small to have many amenities, at least it wasn't too far away from shopping, etc.

I want to live in a small town like that when I grow up.  haha, it is actually like my dream town, even before gilmore girls was on. Except I want to to be in the south where it is warmer. Wink

I know what you mean. But the town where I grew up isn't the same as it used to be  Cry

I wouldn't mind my town being a bit further south too... maybe not so far south that it had palm trees and beaches, but so that the winters were shorter Smiley

yeah.  It is really nice, I would think, where you know everyone and everyone knows you, and everyone knows everyone.  That just seems picture perfect to me.

Right, there always has to be something going on or excitment or something. Like stars Hollow, there is always something, but I can imangine some small town where people just sit around all day, wow that seems very boring, haha I want a more vibrant town. Smiley

So basically we'd probably both be happy living in Stars Hollow... but especially if Stars Hollow were someplace a little warmer, huh?

Definitely.  Though on TV it doesn't seem that cold, lol though I guess it  is filmed in CA, so that might have something to do with it. Wink

Yeah like they'll walk around wearing sweaters. I'd love to live someplace where I could walk around in a sweater! lol Fall here is usually either too warm for sweaters or else it's too cold.

It was funny watching the one where they're on Martha's Vineyard (have you seen that one?) and Luke is shivering even though it doesn't look very cold. They probably just filmed on a beach not far from the studio :eyeroll: Lucky  guys!

haha yeah I know. Sometimes I wish I could live a place where it's nice all year like that, but I think I'd miss the seasons.

yeah, we actually had a very warm winter, which I loved until I realized how much I missed getting snow days, or going home early, or having a delayed opening.  and it can get very hot in the summer there.
