I love Lukes Diner, I hope that Lorelai will be able to go back there soon and everything will be normal. It would be weird watching GG when they dont ever go to Luke's. Its not right.

I miss Lorelai going to the diner and having coffee and chatting with everyone.
Hopefully Lorelai will go there again someday for coffee and maybe try to work things out with Luke as far as there friendship goes atleast.

I love Luke's Diner. Lorelai is like, drinking from 7-11 or Westons lately. Go back, its been four months or something.  I live in a small town, too, but the closest thing we have to a diner is a coffee shop. |

Luke's is one of my favorite things in StarsHollow!! I love watching the background stuff.
If you look in each episode the shelfs behind the bar has coffee mugs on the left....But there never in the Same place every time, The cups are allways moved around in each episode!!
I remember one time Max's cup turned from red to blue!! Big Time Blooper!!
The Luke's diner is awesome!!
I live in a small town but we don't have a diner. The only good place to eat here is
Sonic LOL!!

can anyone tell me what has changed in the diner. Miss Patty and Babette talk about it in one of the last episodes. Is there really something changed or it's just that Lorelai's absence makes the diner seem different.

Yeah, I got pretty riled last week when Chris kept popping in with coffee for Lorelai. He's not supposed to be the "coffee provider," LUKE is. Luke's Diner is like a character all in itself. It's the Stars Hollow watering hole, for cryin' out loud. |

Luke's Diner is probably my favorite place in Stars Hollow (followed closely by the Dragonfly Inn) All the good things have happened there. I HATE how Lorelai isn't going there every day now. That's not our gilmore girls!! Basically every episode in the other seasons they went to Luke's EVERY SINGLE DAY!! And this season, Lorelai hasn't even been to Luke's. I just hate it!!  Just remember the good times there... |

that is an awesome picture. Luke's is like where Gilmore Girls started. The first thing Lorelai does in the pilot is asks Luke for coffee I think.

gotta love the sign. I agree with the no lorelai in the diner = no true Gilmore girls. What i also hate is that its somehow just shut out of her mind. She doesn't address it or anything...frustration. Luke's is the best, its comfortable its where Lorelai proposed, infact, interestingly enough, they had to go out of the diner to break up... the day lorelai gets back into Luke's is a damn good day indeed.

Wow, I love this idea for a thread! And I'm sure a lot of people have heard this, but Luke and his diner were originally only in the pilot episode of the series. I'm glad they kept it! Kelly-that is a really cool pic, even if you didn't make it.  |
