I just watched the episode last night on ABC family, where he found out that Sookie was pregnant, and he was flipping out with the calculator.  It was so funny!!
I can't believe that the actor playing Jackson, is actually married to Alex Borstien.  Alex was supposed to play Sookie origanlly, but she couldn't do it because she had another contract and she could only do camios on the show.  I love Alex as an actor, but I am so glad that they got McCarthy for the part, she takes it away!!!  I love her!

I love Sookie and Jackson Grin.  They go so perfectly together.  I have just been rewatching some of the epsoides I have on tape.  I am watching the one when the inn had just burnt down almost anyway.  Its all the way back when Sookie was pregnant with Davy.  I cried really badly again when they walk in and see how badly damaged the Independence Inn is.  Its just so sad. i think Sookie is a fabulously written character. She's hilarious, honest, genuine and a excellent friend, wife and mother. She's a beautiful person, inside and out  Cheesy

it bothers me how some people i know refer to her as "the fat chick". i mean, sure, yes she's bigger than Lorelai, but she's still gorgeous! and i get a lot of "oh, well she's a cook because she clearly loves food so much". that bothers me ahhh-ton!

anyyways, thats kind of irrelevent, but to sum up: i thin SOokie and Jackson are one of the best couples on GGs. They're lives are just run-of-the-mill and normal. Theres not much drama or conflict. THey click well together i'd say.

i agree. There are so many threads of Jess, Jess/Rory, Milo, Milo/Alexis..which is okay, but i mean, its nice to see others get some well-deserved love.

Thanks for bumping up the thread, laya. Smiley

I totally agree. Though their lives are normal, it's never getting boring, because they are such great characters. I love their little fights about vegetables or Sookie freaking out about something and Jackson calming her. You just have to love them. But unfortunately, we haven't seen them much lately, so I was more than happy that they were together in the latest episode and had this little plot with the babysitter.  Smiley

It would totally bother me too!  I had a male friend, though, who said that if Sookie lost weight she wouldn't be as pretty.  I thought that was sweet and true.  I don't think she could be anymore beautiful.

Her and Jackson are fab together.  They are so cute and funny, yet they're not too cute because they fight like every other married couple, yet at the end, they always say I love you.  I wish we could see more Sookie and Jackson because they are really great characters, plus, they'll make an excellent married couple to hang out with once Lorelai and Luke decide to marry as well!

Finally some real Foodie action. I so loved their plot in Driving Miss Gilmore. It was hilarious when they tried to get rid of the marihuana pickles and ran right through the middle of the town.  Cheesy

I loved seeing Jackson and Sookie last night.  It was so funny watching them trying to be nonchalant while on their mission.  You can see that their marriage is a real partnership.  I've been watching the 1st on DVD again and love their arguments over the fruits and veggies.   They really are so much fun together.

So sad that it's been over a month since someone has posted here Sad.  I LOVE Sookie and Jackson!  They're wonderful together.  I'm borrowing my friends DVDs and just finished season 3 - I love when they fight and fight and fight and then end with "I love you!", "See you tonight!"  Delightful.  And Jackson's reaction to her being pregnant?  At first I was a little annoyed, and still think he was way overthetop, but I realize that he just really loves Sookie and Baby and wants everything to be perfect for all of them, and I appreciate that.

I'm sure y'all have discussed all this to death already, just want to throw in my 2 cents! Smiley

I think Sookie and Jackson's relationship is so sweet and sometimes funny.  My all time favorite storyline they had was when they were lugging around the marijuana and the Reverend and Rabbi are talking to them.  It was so funny.  I think the cutest moment between them was when Jackson proposed and Sookie said, "You do know that this means we’ll have to live together, right?"  I just thought it was so sweet as she was crying.

I love Sookie and Jackson they make such a great couple, they both are goofy in there own way.
Even when they fight you know its not serious its usually about something so silly.
I love when Lorelai said- "He grows fruit and then scares people with it" LOL!!!
Only Jackson would think of sleeping with the Zuchinni he is just a character.
