They are so cute together, too. They work like PB and J. Or Ice Cream and Hershey's Syrup. Or cereal and milk. Or macaroni and cheese.

You get the point.

LOL, I just had PB and J for breakfast.  Cheesy I don't think the fresh jar of peanut butter I bought this morning will survive the day.

Rewatching season 1 for the umpteenth time showed again how much I liked Sookie from the very beginning and how much I wanted her to end up with Jackson. Those two are just too cute, to repeat what almost everyone has mentioned before Wink I love their food-related bickering and I particularly love their constancy - there are no real ups and downs, no separations or divorce talk, no drama - they are just there. It's nice to have something like this for a change.

I'm glad I'm not the only one... In december, I've watched some episodes 3 times...

I don't buy any peanut butter, because of what you wrote. Wink

They are so a perfect couple!  They always made me laugh when they argued over the produce.  After they got together, they didn't do it much...or atleast you don't see it, lol.  I liked the one episode...don't remember which one...where I think the show opened up with them arguing.  At the end of the arguement over the produce, they stopped and kiss and hugged, and the way the argument ended was cute.  I thought that was pretty cool!  Does anyone remember that one?

I remember in Last Week Fights, This Week Tights when they were arguing over whether you could shove one of Jackson's radishes up Davey's nose. It was amusing  Cheesy

I watched Sadie, Sadie today and laughed so much about Jackson when he came in while Lorelai and Sookie were talking about the wedding preparations.

I love that scene! When Jackson gets all nervous and splutters about the most romantic vegetable - who could ever consider vegetables romantic but Sookie?

Quote
JACKSON: You know, I'm the wrong guy to ask.

SOOKIE: You're the vegetable guy.

JACKSON: Yeah, but the normal vegetable guy, not the romantic vegetable guy. I mean, I would have no idea what an appropriate vegetable would be to serve at a wedding. I've never even been to a wedding. One, my cousin BonBon. Yes, that's his real name. And I didn't stay long, and I didn't notice the vegetables, so I would not be the guy to ask about wedding vegetables. I'm not the wedding vegetable guy! [leaves]

Jackson seems to be the only member of his family with a decent name, by the way.

I love the scene in the hospital, after Sookie has their second baby and she's like "Honey, you're getting a vasectomy!" Grin

Ok, I'm new here, hope I'm posting in the right place.  Please steer me to the correct place if not.... Smiley

Isn't Jackson still the town Selectman?  I didn't remember Taylor getting voted back in as the selectman, but he is still running the town meetings, etc.

Thanks!!!

We tried to figure that out but never came to a conclusion. The discussion is in the "Taylor huh?" thread... You'll find it on the last page...
