Same here. Plus, for at least a year now I've been trying to find a way to get to Illinois (to see Vicksin!), convention or no convention. And I haven't found a way. Still!

[Although, we are looking at colleges in Ohio... and if anyone else was looking at collges in Ohio... *laughs*]

Is that a hint, Bethy?

Go visist a school in Chicago! U of Chicago! Come on, that's a good school!

Come visit schools in New York!

Ha, that was SO a hint. Wink Maybe I'll drag my family to Beloit...? U of Chicago is crossed off the list-- my dad's friend's son went there and worked until he cried every night. My parents said no way.

Aww, man but there are many school in Chicago!

Yes, visit Beloit! That's only about 2 hours away, I can drive there no problem!

Hmm, in New York? My parents aren't keen on my going to New York. But if New York, then definitely NYU. It'll have the added bonus of being close to you!

Ha, I was looking into Beloit, Vicki...I sort of want to go now, because it is a really good school!

But that's only if I don't get into Columbia. Roll Eyes

The nearest I can get is college in Pennsylvania...in two years time. Plus I live in the UK. Sucky much? Would be cool though. Mother probably wouldn't let me go anyway. Think of the poor little Brit girl stuck in school when people who can go go...

Aw, I'm in Pa. I highly, highly, doubt that I'd be able to go all the way to Chicago for a GG convention. Dammit. Cry

I live in PA, too, ugh. Nothing cool ever goes on in PA , I wish I lived in Chicago! My parents ALREADY think I'm to obsessed with
Gilmore Girls, so there is NOO way they'd drive me all the way to Chicago for a GG Event. And NONE of my friends like GG so, I 'm outa luck, guess I'll just have to wait for something closer like NY or Nj , but I'm going to Murtle Beach for 2 WEEKS this summer  I have noo clue when though, probably in the middle of July or something. BOO HOO!  Cry

I would absolutly love to go!But my parents SO would not let me go.  Sad
In a couple of months I will be able to drive but I don't know anybody else who likes gg...so a road trip is out, like my parents would even let me go on a road trip anyway...major bummer.

Agh, I live in AZ during the winter, but Michigan in the summer.

Maybe if I found a ferry, that went across Lake Michigan...

But I'd have to find a pretty darn good excuse to my parents.

I'm in Michigan too, but I wouldn't be able to go. If it's in July or August, I'll be out of country and if it's in September I'll have school, work, et cetera. :Pouts:

Alice is probably going. Grr, I hate her.
