Hearts Dear ORG Forumites,

As many of you are probably aware, today (February 14) is known throughout much of the world as Valentines Day, a celebration of love, friendship, and these weird, kind of chalky-tasting candy hearts with stuff written on them. But for me personally, Valentine's Day will forever be most closely tied to memories of elementary school, when every 14th of February meant all the kids in class sharing valentine cards with one another—a day for everyone to feel included, in the giving and receiving of those sweet, flimsy, cheesy little notes. And so, with a mindset still stuck somewhere in grade school, I approached Heidi, webmistress extraordinaire, about organizing an electronic card-share for the ORG Forum this Valentine's Day—and with her help and support, it's all come together for you to spread punny personal messages of Gilmore love to all your Forum pals! Just follow the instructions below! (And P.S. Extra special thanks to Heidi and Beth for inspiring all the best cards of the bunch!)

1. Browse through the cards below (click on any one to enlarge) and decide which you'd like to send.

3. Click on the link at the below this list—but not before you've read all 8 instruction points! What comes up is a list of all the registered Forum members. Find the person you want to send the card to either by clicking the "Search for users" link or selecting his or her name from the alphabetical list.
4. Click on the chosen username; his or her profile will appear on the screen. Scroll down to the bottom and click on the link to "Send this member a personal message."
5. Paste the block of text you copied from this page into the body of the message.
6. SUPER IMPORTANT!!: In order to make the link operative, you must delete the four blocks of capital letters that say DELETETHIS. (These are only here to make it possible for you copy and paste the link in its alphanumeric form; don't worry, once you get rid of all four "DELETETHIS"'s, the person receiving the card will only see it as a picture!) Apologies for the pesky details!
7. Underneath the newly revised link, write your Valentine's Day message to the person receiving it. Gee, this is fun!
8. Come up with a snazzy subject line, and then send the whole thing off!

Drew, these turned out AMAZING! And Heidi-- you said yours weren't good? They are HYSTERICAL! I almost spit my gum out over the "troubadorable" one, major props to whoever did that one, very clever and witty. The graphics are top-notch, I was ecstatic at how well these turned out!

(Next year, I'm printing them up and handing them out!)

Just wanted to say I love the Valentines, I wish I saw them sooner I probably would have used them. One kid in school who I gave a Valentine too who makes fun of me relentlessly for my Gilmore obsession actually said "I don't like this card, it isn't Gilmore girls." And I told him I couldn't find Gilmore valentines...I should have come to the website a day sooner Smiley
