Michel doesn't like Luke fixing thing at the inn because it takes away from Lorelai and his bonding time.  Lorelai's parents insist that Luke come for Friday dinner, and she promises without consulting him first.  It turns out that they learn a lot about buisness and being conned.  Lorelai doesn't tell her parents about the wedding being posponed.  Lorelai tells Luke that they feeling he has when they leave the Gilmore's house is that "You've been Gilmored".  Paris is ousted from the paper and the staff elects a new editor, Ror, setting in motion a chain of events that alters Rory's relationships with Pairs and Logan; and Rory gives her Dad a tour of Yale.  Who finds out that Paris kicked Rory out and Rory has moved in with Logan (because there was no other place she could stay).  Then Chris is the first to tell Lorelai the news flowed shortly by Rory.

Smiley Good to remind everyone!  And gotcha!  One thing I wanted to say was since when does Michel hate Luke so much.  I know they never got along like best friends, but that seemed a lot more.  Also, Chris looked so much different with his shorter hair cut!  He didn't really seem like the "old" chris to me.  Rory seemed to like Paris again more than she has shown in the previous couple of episodes.
Hummm. what else did I want to say.  OH yeah, so there are more commercials now, but now most of them are long commercials.  The actual amound of Gilmore time has definitely decressed and I am wondering why.

im not sure if Michel hates Luke, i think he was just a lil mad becuase with Luke working at the Inn, Michel and Lorelai wont be going for their coffee's anymore to discuss the inn? thats JMO.
Also, i totally agree with you on the Rory/Logan. I didnt know she was so "in to" him from watching the previous episodes! I love how Christopher is getting mroe involved in Rory's life (checking out Yale). I loved this episode and i cant wait til next week!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't think Michel hates luke, he was just jealous about not being able to spend some alone time with lorelai.

I loved luke at the gilmore dinner. being basically made family by richard and emily lol.
i don't like the way lorelai lied to luke about june 3rd.
Lorelai and luke need to start being more honest with each other.

Agreed!  I loved this episode too.  When it was over I got up to come on here and I was just standing there smilying and I couldn't stop jumping up and down.  I don't know...GG has some weird affect on me! Wink
It is nice that Rory and Chris are getting closer, though it was Lorelai's idea.  I'm happy that things are good between Luke and Lorelai.  They talked to eachother and Emily and Richard about April and stuff like it was just normal conversation, I liked that.  Too bad the wedding still can't be on June 3rd!  I agree with Chris about Logan's appartment.  I liked it, it was huge!  Haha, I guess thats what happens when you are rich! Wink  Logan seemed better and Rory and Logan seemed good together.

Oh yeah, something else I really enjoyed.  I even came here and posted on another thread after I saw the very begining, I loved it!  That dinner with E/R and Lorelai and Rory was just funny and great.  I liked how they started over and over again then Richard started to say the same thing he had said before, and then Emily was the one who really changed the subject!  I thought it was great! Cheesy

Okay, before I talk about the episode, allow me a completely shallow rant.

Grow some hair, David Sutcliffe!  Hair is good.  Hair is important.  Hair is vital.  And, I don't mean the hair so short you might as well shave your hair because who are you kidding thing that Christopher has going on.  Hair frames the face, accentuates the positives and plays down the negatives.  Such as, DS has a fairly wide mouth.  With a decent amount of hair it doesn't look quite so wide and I can concentrate on the fact that he's a good looking man.  And, totally off topic, but I found out that Noah Wyle is making a guest appearance on ER - and he has the same hair mutilation!  What famous celebrity should I attack for starting this trend???

Ahem.  Now that I've done that, and wiped my tears, on to the episode.  Not as bad as last weeks, but just okay.  Nothing to get too excited or happy about.

No surprise at all that Rory is not pregnant.  I even called it that the promos had been doctored to look like Lorelai was talking to Rory when she was really talking to Christopher.

Please, please, please, AS-P, give me a big old Emily&Richard apologizing to Lorelai scene and saying they are wrong.  Just one.  Each and every time they have a Friday night dinner after a huge argument, after Lorelai justifiably decides she's not going to take their antics, and they still act like the injured party, and Lorelai has to be the bigger person every time, it makes me hate watching them even more.  Being upset with Rory for leaving without a goodbye?  Okay, that I could see.  But, they owe Lorelai a back log of understanding and apologies for what they've done, and for blaming her for things that aren't her fault.  And, at this point, I don't care if it's realistic.  Write an episode where Richard and Emily are under mind control if you have to.

Okay, they weren't horrible at the dinner with Luke.  I did detect a bit of subtle snottiness from Emily.  Which I'll give them credit for writing her in character.  Subtle snottiness is in character.  The screaming banshee of last season was a cartoon.

No comment on Rory moving in with Logan.  It's happened.  That's about it.  Not sure if it's a good or bad thing about Christopher telling, but again, since there was ultimately no problem, not much to say there.  All I can say is, I'm not a parent, so I don't know if that is something that falls under the "parent code" and even if it isn't, I can't keep a secret to save my life, so I'm in no position to judge.

And, again, hair!  Hair!  Repeat after me.  Hair is good.

Good night, and yes I thought he did.  But, I guess not 100%, only most the time.  I guess because remember in two episodes ago after Lorelai and him posponed the wedding he said i'll meet you at my place.  So maybe they are almost living together, but aren't completly until they get married, because they haven't moved all of Lukes things into Lorelai's place.

EDIT: Agreed Dani257!  Chris's hair was way too short.  I definitely did not get the Chris feel.  They made him act a lot different then they normally had him act before.

It was just what Chris had told her, but then Lorelai tried to act surprised, but it didn't work.  Oh, it was that she had moved in with Logan.  Good news though that she became edditer of the newspaper.

Question:  Why wasn't Rory at the Friday night dinner with Luke and Lorelai?  It was a friday and normally don't they both go?

Just remember, the promo guy is a liar and a deciever.  There was no way Rory was going to be pregnant, precisely because the promo guy tried to make it seem like she was. If they had shown Rory in labor in the promos for this episode, I would have said Rory wasn't pregnant.

Yea, I never believe the promo guy.  I rely on the spoilers and changing my knowlage of what he said around.  If he makes it seem something I change it around with the spoiler knowladge I have to some reasonable.  Not like Rory being pregnent.  Thats just way to far fetched.

I agree with Dani: This episode was much better than the last few, but still nothing to pee yourself over.

I had a problem with Christopher's phone call because of WHEN he called.  I understand his "parent code" feeling, and his finking feeling.  So here's what you do, Chris.  You wait until AFTER Rory said she was going to talk to her mom (at least give her a chance man), THEN check in with either Lorelai or Rory to make sure it happened (like the next day), and if it didn't then you follow the parent code and tell Lorelai.  Why in the world would you call before Rory got a chance to call like she said she would?  And it didn't advance the plot at all, so what was the point?

I thought Michel was so cute!  When he started sadly recounting their tradition I literally said "awwwwwww!" outloud.  So adorable.

I'm glad Rory finally became editor.  It sucks that Paris thought she was plotting it from the beginning, but Paris has always been paranoid that way.  She thought Rory was plotting with Francie, she thought she destroyed her project on purpose and such.  Hopefully Paris will simmer dahn nah and realize things didn't go down the way she thought, like she always does.

It's stupid that Rory and Logan are moving in together.  Way to early (if it should ever happen, ick).  I know they were dating before, but they just got back together.  And Logan's attitude about it "It'll be fun!"  Not enough serious thought was put into an important decision like this.  There are only two excuses for it.  (1) They both view it as temporary while she looks for her own place again or (2) Living together drives them apart and Rory dumps Logan's arse for good.

That's all for now, lots more later per usual, I'm sure Smiley
