As far as I know, Gilmore Girls episodes are not available for download. You can rent the DVDs from a video store, if that is an option for you.

Gilmore Girls / General Discussion / Re: Our First Dance

I appologize if I've put this thread in the wrong place... it's been a while since I've started one. Anyway, since my fiance and I met right here on the org, we are possibly considering having our first dance at our wedding be GG related. Here's two possibilities, and if you have other ideas, please let me know. Reflecting Light by Sam Phillips (L&L danced to this in season 4 I think) or Mona Lisa by Grant Lee Phillips (our town troubador) We have other song ideas too... but what are some of your ideas? I think "Reflecting Light" is a great choice! It's not GG related, but your question reminded me of a song I heard on "Dawson's Creek" once. On that show, it was actually played at a wedding and is on the Dawson's Creek soundtrack. It is a great wedding song. It's called "Feels Like Home" by Chantal Kreviazuk.

I love how Lorelai dresses. Sometimes I find clothes that remind me of her, but I am not as tall or as, shall we say, endowed as the lovely Lauren Graham, so I don't find much that I can wear. Yesterday, however, I found this very nice dress at Marshall Fields- a "Lorelai dress" if you will, and it was definetly something I could wear! However, I couldn't think of where to wear it - not big on dressing up and I have a dress code at my job, so I didn't buy it... yet.

Hello!
Community points are a fun little system where other members can hit you with a "pretty stick" (to add points), or be "snarkastic" (to take away points). I'll pretty stick you for finding the right place to ask this!! You can participate as well, when you reach 100 posts.
The titles are also based on the number of posts you have. I know there's a list of titles and the number of posts required to reach them, but I can't remember where it is!

I think x_ch0co found the exact same definition I did (Dictionary.com) !
Actually, I think "paradox" fits if you think of how eating what Lorelai does should mean she weighs 300 pounds, but, as the "Lorelai" on the shirt shows, she is slim and trim. To borrow a few words from the definition, this is certainly "contradictory", but is "nonethess true". (At least as far as the character of Lorelai is concerned!)

Cool promo! Makes me excited for the new season, as if I wasn't already. Did you notice that website says ASP is executive producer? (Along with Dave Rosenthal) Hmm.. so at least she's still attached! As for the song, I tried!! Even with all the powers of the internet, I couldn't figure out who sings it. I suspected it is titled "Someday", but no iTunes or google searches helped. Maybe it's brand new???

I like Copperboom!'s design- it's hip & unique. Reminds me of the style of the "Mary is My Home Girl" t-shirts (Lorelai has two, you know!) The best part of it is the graphic, maybe the wording on the shirt could be different - although it clever and a cute sentiment, but maybe we could brainstorm on something different as far as the wording goes. But I agree with Heidi, the more I look at the shirt, the more I like it! Oh, and the "T"-shirt, is referring to tea, as the tea bag implies....
