I suppose you all noticed that the last scene is the same as Episode 1, Season 1.....what am I saying...of course you all do!!!!! Now I need a Lauren Graham retrospective......
Yeah... we realized the scene. I thought it was pretty neat though that they put that scene at the begining and end of the series.

Well... I just finished. I have to admit this though... I never cried once throughout the entire series... but the part when Emily and Richard were leaving and how Lorelai said that Friday Nite Dinners were going to continue... and then with Rory and Emily... I cried
I think that all of those people who don't like this episode are on crack... because this was a great episode. I mean... true, it could have been better. But it was great. And I loved the very end when it was Rory, Lorelai, and Luke in the dinner. There have been several other episodes in previous seasons that have had similar scenes. They are great, and I think that they represent that they truly are a family. With Luke making them breakfast.. it was like a father providing for his wife and daughter.
But I agree... they left so much hanging out in the open. I mean come on!!! They didn't end the Lorelai/Luke relationship, or Emily/Lorelai, Rory/Lane, and Rory/town. They definitely need more episodes, or all people will think of this episode is wow, they left a lot out.
ALL in ALL, I think it is a great show and I am sorry to see it go. But somewhere i feel there is hope for one more season, or at least some episodes.

I am sooo happy, for this episode, but sad because this is the END. I had been trying not to think about it, but how can you? It is finally upon us.
I think that this episode will be one of the best. I can't wait for Luke+Lorelai (hopefully). The reinactment should be funny.

Yeah... watching the first episode is a good idea. It will give us a contrast of the characters then and now.
BTW http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kciK4u6SgqU&mode=related&search= here is the last part of the episode which includes the breakup speech.
I am just really sad about how everything ended up the last episode. I thought that going all or nothing was pretty immature by Logan. I mean, there are so many couples that went back and forth. I think that if he really loved her, he could have waited. But can I just say it, "WHAT AN ASSHOLE!!!!" He should have been way more understanding. I mean come on!!! She's what like 22? Younger than all the people I know who are married. By several years.

I think that the karioke scene was one of the greatest. I didn't cry, but it was great!!! Especially the facial expressions that Lorelai wore. They were awesome. It really showed how much feeling she had for Luke.

Yeah... I know... it was so sad when she was singing. You could even tell by her facial reactions when Luke walked in, that the ending was going to be sad. A soon as she realized that he was there, I was 100% sure that she was talking about her and Luke. i was sooo sad, because I think that it is over for them. Why though??? They were so perfect and from the first episode, they had things for each other. I am sooo sad. I never liked Christopher, but i think that they are going to get back together.

So when did Rory get the letter that altered her life? I guess I missed it.
I am really starting to not like the show spoilers because they get you all excited, and you have certain expectations, then those aren't met and you get dissapointed. Maybe we shouldn't look at the show spoilers so that the show has new meaning each time we watch a new epi.

Did anyone realize this. In the dream... when Luke talks to Lorelai's stomach, he calls the twins: Sid and Nancy, then Lorelai says Leopold and Lobe, don't tell Rory. Now go back to Season one episode 16:Star-Crossed Lovers and other Strangers. IN the episode when Emily tries to set Lorelai up with Chase, he says that he lived in the Stone house on the corner. Then Lorelai says, "the one with the Dobermans?" and he says, "yes Leopold and Lobe...". The dogs' names are the same as what she wanted to name the twins.. isn't that really weird?

For eight hundred miles, she'd have to use public restrooms. It's different.
It is very different. Going to Yale to visit Rory is not something that I would consider a roadtrip. I mean, Rory does it every Friday night for godsakes. true dat... your right. I wouldn't consider it a road trip... usually road trips are taken with no intention of exactly what to do or where to go. I think that her going to yale... was more of a pleasure thing rather than a roadtrip.
