I was watching the show the other night too!
It drove me crazy when I saw him because I couldn't figure out who he was.

I was like that too, until about 45 minutes into the show and then I was like, "OMG that's Jess Dad!" and my nanna had no idea what i was talking about.

Man, he's been on my list forever, and I never got around to reading him before he died! That makes me feel so crappy. I'm a BAD librarian!
He will always be remembered, because he was on Gilmore Girls (he couldn't of picked a better show).

I don't have an actual newsclip for this, but I saw Estes on the Women's Murder Club, and I went and checked on TV.com and it's true! Jimmy Mariano is a cop now! And he gets to be Angie Harmon's ex-husband, lucky fella. 
Anyways, it's a pretty good show from the one episode I've seen, and if you want to check it out, it's on ABC at 9:00 on Fridays.

Oh, and if you forget who Jimmy Mariano is, that's Jess's Dad, Season 3 Episodes 20 and 21.

Because season seven was minus the wonderful ASP & co., it is naturally going to be less spectacular than all previous seasons. I've learned to accept that and be happy for the exciting moments we get, one of which being the super-romantic karaoke moment.

Please forgive me but this sounds like a terrible thing to do. i am unsure of how many of you might have watch the tv series Dr. Quinn. well, great show, then they left it hang for a year and the 2 hour show that they brought back was really dumb. they didn't start off where they had ended. they started off like we had been watching it for years and thier child was older, and the three children that she raised were older and on thier own as well. so you missed out on a lot of things. so i really think that this will be interesting to say the least. I really think that they need to bring it back for one more season and then if Alexis doesn't want to come back right away consentrate on the other people of the town for the time being, but then if needed write in a two hours season finially. but as it stands CW won't be getting my tv watching until they bring back something that is fit to watch.

I understand your point, but since the most important characters and the important minor characters are all adults, I don't think it will make a difference at all. We don't need to see Davey and Martha, and the new Belleville baby hasn't been cast yet. If Davey and Martha ARE needed, well, they can be recast with kids that look fairly similiar (if they can do it to Mia {I still hate them for that} then they can do it to them). And that's all. Barring any cast deaths or car accidents that alter a cast member's face to drastically that ASP will have to write a random scene involving a Wampa attack on an ice-covered planet, I think we'll be alright.

I'm definitely participating in this! Though I may have alter the schedule for my own purposes, since I work Tuesday evenings, and Anyways I always watched it at ten because that's when Global Toronto played it. But anyways, I'm DEFINITELY doihng this, and I can't wait for August 21 now!!!

Did anyone else notice during the scene where Rory participates in the class discussion, that the guy who starts tlaking is Masi Oka, a.k.a Hiro Nakamura of Heroes?! I just noticed that today and I freaked!

JavaJunkiee, that really sucks about that family moving away. I know all about that, only I'm usually the one doing the moving. But it's all the same, either way one still parts with friends. If they're moving somewhere close by-ish, you could visit some time. If they're moving far far away, like halfway across the country (I did that. It sucked.), then sadly all you really can do is write, talk on the phone, and remember all the fun times you had. Oh, and dream about going to visit sometime (I do that. It's been 5 years. Still haven't got the money. It sucks.).
Until they move, make the most of the time you have left together. That's really all that's left. I really feel for you, parting with friends is hard, and I really wish the best for you.
