I find it interesting that I was snarked when I have hardly posted anything and mainly stuck to the spree thread.  Unless I said something in there that bothered someone...but i don't think i've said much in there as it is.  Ah well, sometimes I think it's better without Karma as it's just another thing for people to worry about.
92  Gilmore Girls / General Discussion / Re: Off topic: Political thread on: December 08, 2005, 10:22:32 AM
Let's see, my opinons on these topics will mostly just be a repeat of what's already been said, but here goes:

Government: I voted that my government sucks because we're having a Christmas election, our current prime minister is boring and the premier and prime minister look like their going to allow health care to be privitized.

Birth Control: Whether you believe in it or not, who says you have the right to decide what other people do with their lives and their body.  If a pharmacist doesn't want to hand out b/c perscriptions, then s/he should have taken that into consideration before becoming a pharmacist.  You don't believe in birth control? Don't use it for yourself.  Don't stop others for so you can pretend you ha ve a conscious.

Abortion: I'm pro-choice.  Abortion should be available to anyone who wants it.  Don't believe in abortion? Don't have one.  But for the women who are raped or don't want a child, they should have the option of abortion if they want it.  I do have a problem with abortion as a means of birth control however.

Viagara: If it is covered by health care, so should birth control be.

What is "Women's Studies"? Woman true historie (right to wote and all that) or something else? I am so lost Huh

The right to vote is a very small part.  In my case, women's studies is an introduction to the whole subject, so mostly feminist theories and their application, as well as historical, philosophical and literary foundations of the study of women's lives throughout the world, not just the Western world.
94  GilmoreGirls.org / Closed Topics / Re: Who would you rather see leave the show, Taylor or April on: December 05, 2005, 04:52:45 PM
Taylor's way to much of a part of the show and Stars Hollow to get rid of his character.  It wouldn't be right.  I haven't made up my mind on April yet.

I have them in Calculus, Chemistry, Biology, Creative Writing, English, Home Ability and Economics, Computer Design and Development, and Victorian and Contemporary Literature Comparatives. I'm not too worried though. If I thought I'd have problems I would study, but I know the materials.

That's a lot.

I've got Psych, Women's Studies, Biology, Philosophy & Sociology.  It's not going ot be pretty.

It's a cute episode and a great introduction to the show.

I never thought of something pink... I don't want it to be recognizably related. Just in case. I though about a yellow daisy, but that goes back to the yellow thing.

Pink fades...so does yellow.  I'm not sure what you meant by the yellow thing exactly.

What do you do Krisleigh, that prevents where you can get a tattoo?

I think being happy is a bit more important then the reason.  Also reasons are good too. Smiley

Couldn't you just use Firefox for browsing and Netscape or whatever for mail? *shrug*

You could use Mozilla Suite.  This program originated from Mozilla after Netscape made it open-source.  Firefox is it's main browser and seeing as it originates from Netscape, I'm pretty sure you'd be able to easily import your mail messages.

You could always download it, try importing your mail, and if it doesn't work, just uninstall Mozilla, leaving your Netscape alone.
103  Gilmore Girls / Relationship Threads / Re: Foodies Thread - Sookie & Jackson Appreciation on: November 30, 2005, 05:07:29 PM
Sookie & Jackson are great.  I like how they always argue about the food that he brings her.

"stick you" is a good thing right?Huh

Stick you means "pretty stick".  Once you hit 100 (?) posts, you become a full member and are able to prettystick (increase karma) someone or snarkastic (decrease karma).

If I've gotten that wrong...someone can correct me, but that's how I understand it works.

More information here.
Edit: I see you've already been there before today.  Well I'll leave the link for anyone else who has questions and hasn't seen the thread.

I'm totally looking forward to tomorrow morning, because I can open 3 Advent calanders then. Smiley But the bad thing is, I'll probably have no internet for the next days. Sad

I wanted to buy myself an advent calendar but didn't see any when I was grocery shopping, so I just bought myself chocolate.  I'll have to buy one late.
