76  Episode Discussion / Season 7 / Re: 7.01 - The Long Morrow on: September 29, 2006, 03:26:57 PM
Wow, that was a good episode!  I have to agree that it lacked a little something, but overall a great performance.  Yes, the rocket thing was great!  As well as the racquetball scene!  I don't know why, but the scene when Lorelai, Michel and Rory were talking about exercising and the crack about Pilates absolutely cracked me up! (maybe it was just me)  Anyway, hated the LL situation, next week cannot be good.  Although, I have come to the conclusion that Luke is usually easy to sway his opinion after a while.  Let's hope that is the case this time.  Well, guess we'll have to  wait till next week.  Such torture!
77  Gilmore Girls / General Discussion / Re: What happens when the show is over ... end of the world or are DVDs are enough? on: September 25, 2006, 08:08:47 PM
Yea, it will be really wierd when GG ends.  The DVD's might be alright for a little while, but you always need a new eppy to give you a lift.  It will be like trying to survive the off season, but for the rest of your life!  As for the spin off thing, it will be a flop.  I can't recall one spin off that I've actually liked.
78  Gilmore Girls / General Discussion / Re: How old should Gilmore viewers be? on: September 25, 2006, 08:01:31 PM
I think GG is a good show to start watching as a tween.  The show does not have any younger characters that would appeal to younger children.  But, I also agree with the idea that a child should be judged by their mental stage.  Some 9 or 10 year olds might be ready for the show.  GG offers alot of real life situations that teens can relate to, which is why I think tweens are about the right age group.  It may prepare them for some things they might be facing soon.

Hey Pulp Friction was a rerun on ABC Family today too!

Some of my fav. scenes come from that eppy.  Like when, Kirk chases after Lulu for the pink ribbon and shows back up with her whole sweatshirt!  And I love the scene where Lorelai blows up at her mother.  I thought Emily had been deserving that for a long time.

I have to say my favorite moment was also when the girls got back together again.  It was so great to see them make up.  I mean, they are the show, and without them it was kinda weird.  Another favorite moment was at Lane's wedding.  I sympathized with Lorelai so much, but she embarassed herself so bad.
