1  Gilmore Girls / Show and Cast Member News / Re: Gilmore Girls Limited-Series Revival Set at Netflix - 10.19.15 on: October 20, 2015, 08:37:54 pm
Thank you from the bottom of my heart Heidi, for keeping this site alive! I'm still a diehard Gilmore fan...own all the Seasons and watch it on "UP". FYI...that channel is having a Gilmore binge-fest this coming Sunday. The Gilmore Girls has stayed near and dear to me.  I couldn't believe I remembered my Login and password! I am so stoked about the Mini Series!
I would love the Org. to come up with a special edition t-shirt to celebrate the new episodes. I would definitely buy one!

*Pretty Stick* to you Luke Danes Fan!!! Go for it......why not continue their lives....who knows...Maybe Amy will read it and be inspired to blog a Season 8 for the GG fans. Joss Whedon was so inspired by what the Buffy fans wrote....you never know. I was a Buffy fan from long ago....loved it and did read the virtual eppi's (they were actually well written) The new Joss/Buffy stuff is great and has continued her story for those of us devotees who wanted more.

So I say GO FOR IT!!!

I have a nominee,,,,Drella!!! The harp player from Independence Inn. She was so hilarious...you had to love her. Remember she was to be the original Sookie. Amy wrote Sookie Saint James with that actress from MAD TV (Alex Borstein) in mind. If you look at Season 1 DVD- there is a screen test with her atcing the part of Sookie in the kitchen....remember the episode when Sookie singed her hair. The only reason she didn't take the part was because MAD wouln't let her out of her contract. I think Alex's REAL LIFE husband is Sookie's husband on the show- Jackson.
6  Episode Discussion / Season 7 / Re: 7.21 - Unto the Breach on: May 09, 2007, 06:28:53 pm
....You've got to love a show that prompts so much discussion. I have been a fan for the past 4 years and am proud to be a javajunkie. I felt Amy had a way with her writing that touch all of our hearts in one way or another. Her characters were so real....living ,breathing, loving personalities....people you grew to love and care about. I have been happy to tune in every Tuesday nite to laugh, cheer and cry with televisions most interesting and delightful characters. I am although a bit apprehensive as to how the last eppi will go. I miss Amy's writing. I hope that when all is said and done, that Amy will let her fans know what was her original plan for our girls' final episode. I truly want to know those last words between Lorelai and Rory from Amy. The story feels incomplete.....I don't know if there will be a Season 8....but I'll keep hoping. At this point.......the writers should at least give us a full end but I don't think that will happen-too many loose ends. What do you think the last scene will be? We know it takes place at Luke's...

Blu-ray, also known as Blu-ray Disc (BD), is the name of a next-generation optical disc format jointly developed by the Blu-ray Disc Association (BDA), a group of the world's leading consumer electronics, personal computer and media manufacturers (including Apple, Dell, Hitachi, HP, JVC, LG, Mitsubishi, Panasonic, Pioneer, Philips, Samsung, Sharp, Sony, TDK and Thomson). The format was developed to enable recording, rewriting and playback of high-definition video (HD), as well as storing large amounts of data. The format offers more than five times the storage capacity of traditional DVDs and can hold up to 25GB on a single-layer disc and 50GB on a dual-layer disc. This extra capacity combined with the use of advanced video and audio codecs will offer consumers an unprecedented HD experience.
Hope that answers your question Smiley
