There were funny parts, but not all that great which is why 4 is straight to dvd. It's all personal preference, and personally - i don't prefer them haha.

Hit!
For any of you who might remember "Mouth" by Merril Bainbridge: chorus goes
Would it be my fault if I could turn you on Would it be so bad if I could turn you on When I kiss your mouth I want to taste it Turn you upside down Don't wanna waste it
it was a hit in the 90's i think. if u can't remember i'm sure u can look it up and listen somewhere

Gilmore Girls / General Discussion / Re: Gilmore Girls Birthday Party

I'm loving all of these ideas - and I sooo need to plan a party of my own! Maybe you could incorporate Stars Hollow things - have a sign like the one in town. If you had a gazeebo, that would be really cool. Use white christmas lights to decorate like in stars hollow. The idea of trivia with quotes and episode sounds really fun. Maybe you could find out her favorite episode and use more ideas from that. Also, Lorelai and Rory love to play BopIt - might consider getting one of those for a party game. Could make the guests dress up as their favorite characters. Paint toe nails red, learn and recite the Yale fight song, figure out some kind of game/contest about all of Rory's boyfriends (which one they like the best). Oh and spelling out happy birthday ____ with mallomars! Well, that's all I can think of for now~ Here's the mallomars

Gilmore Girls / General Discussion / Gilmore Girls Merchandise

I looked around a little and didn't see any other threads with much info about gilmore girls merch. So I thought I'd start. What does everyone have for merch? What would you like to see when it comes to merchandise? I just *love* the coffee mugs, so i had to buy all of them. - for an overwhelming price but i guess that's what gg means to me ahha I would love to see many things gilmorized! Maybe more bags/totes, perhaps pens, more candles, stuff for decoration - lamps, desk accessories, clocks, frames, coasters, things for the kitchen?? - a coffee maker. Does anybody make their own things- not for sale but for personal use? I know about the various t-shirt, but I'd like to hear what everyone has or wants!

I learned not to wear my bunny slippers to breakfast in the dining hall. and how to hide things in the floorboards.
The biggest thing I've taken from the show is my favortism toward other seasons. I used to hate hate winter and not so much for fall, but Lorelai's love for snow and all the pretty leaves in the fall have really turned my views around. So I learned that everything is magical when it snows!

Gilmore Girls / General Discussion / Re: Episodes that make you cry and episodes that make you mad

If we are adding episodes that made you mad, I would have to say a lot of the episodes during last season when Lorelai bit her tongue and didn't tell Luke how she was really feeling when it came to April, and postponing their wedding. That was very frustrating to watch since the old Lorelai never would have held back what she was feeling before.
Yes, i agree! But then again, I think she's scared - look what happened with her and Max, she always gets this way. But we are all hoping for a happy ending. Without suffering there would be no compassion~ (<- my fav quote from a walk to remember)

Gilmore Girls / General Discussion / Re: What do you miss?

I will partly agree with all of you who miss the "old" rory. I also miss Marty! (all of this coming to mind due to the abc family marathon!! - which I also miss even thought I can watch them on dvd anytime) But I will have to say that I think Rory's choice for guys and change in personality and appearance is all for good reason and is good for the show. Take Marty, he was 'down to earth,' humble, genuine kinda guy. But on any show, you can't keep drama and keep the audience interesting in a boring good guy like Marty. Also, Rory is a type A personality who organizes and studies a lot and all of that which is why her not so good choices that happen in many parts of her personal life/relationships with family and boys! I guess you could say she's booksmart not streetsmart Also, I just noticed (while watching the marathon) that Logan does tend to interact with Rory a lot through her dorm window. And I wanted to point out that this is the reason many campuses do not allow girls to have first floor dorms (meaning for female safety) - at least my college does that! But it sure would have been fun to have my guy sneak in my window lol.

Children's books are cool. Have u read the true versions of all the Disney tales? I haven't, but I hear that they are very different and gruesome! I'm currently rereading The Giver. I had an urge to read some things that I read in grade school again. I just finished the book and movie - Tuck Everlasting (w/ Alexis Bledel!!!)
