Oh my freakin' goodness, thank God!! You guys have no idea how hard it was to read all this Twilight talk and not be able to be a part of it. I have big news! I was at the camp I go to's annual Christmas party last Saturday, and while I was leaving I met Michael Copon. Me and my mom weren't sure where we knew him from, but it didn't stop her from calling him over and asking if he's famous. So we're asking him about his work and stuff, then he says he's gonna be Jacob in New Moon. I heard the rumors that he might be playing Jacob after he phases and after looking at pictures I'm not so sure he can pull off Jacob. I also haven't heard many good things about his acting. But if he's crap then it'll make the Bella/Jacob relationship crap (which it is in me entirely biased Team Edward opinion) so alrighty then. Fail Summit. Laura, you're alive!

Caryn - I completely agree with you about the flow of the movie and the E/B courtship. I went to the movie with a couple of people that never read the books and they didn't see E/B as having a soul mate type of love. They saw it as more of an infatuation. I just watched the movie again on youtube (hehe) and while I liked it better the second time around, I couldn't help but really see how their blossoming relationship wasn't portrayed deeply enough. Kami - I was upset with the meadow scene. I should have figured it would be weird starting with the Bella staring at Edward as she walks past him and he follows her into the woods. Don't even get me started on the sparkle. It was downright terrible. I understand they didn't have a large budget for the film but don't make it look like the guy is sweating (oh and the vampire running and climbing trees was cheesy). I was so happy they included "and so the lion fell in love with the lamb". Rob and Kristen pulled it off beautifully. I totally agree with you about Bella's lullaby! It wouldn't take that much effort to go into the significance. As he's playing the song she could say something and he could say it was inspired by her and all that swoon-worthy talk. It's such an important piece, especially since it plays several times throughout the movie (on the subject of music, who else loved the songs by Rob that were in the movie? I love his voice). I really liked Kristen as Bella. I thought she did a wonderful job. And Rob was amazing...they were all amazing. The right actors were cast in the right roles (I especially loved Alice and Charlie)...but I agree with you and Caryn about Rosalie, wasn't crazy about Nikki. And I didn't notice how much Cam tilted his head! Funny! What was your favorite scene in the movie? I really loved the baseball scene. It definitely did not disappoint. And I also adored the last scene with Edward and Bella alone in the gazebo at prom. As for New Moon, well they have a new director. I think his name in Chris Weitz? I'm excited to see what he'll bring to the table. And I know I'll be crying like a baby when Edward leaves, just thinking about it makes me sad. Not looking forward to a bunch of Jacob (btw, thoughts on possible replacement of Taylor Lautner?) but I suppose I'll survive somehow And I'm super excited to see who's cast as the Volturi and the whole Italy sequence itself!

Hi. Ummmm, wow, it's been a long time since I've been here. I hope you're all doing well, I miss it here so much and all the people that make it great. This semester was so exhausting, definitely my hardest one yet. There just always seemed to be work that had to get done. I'm in the middle of finals so it'll be over in a week! movies (Catherine Hardwicke not directing New Moon!) Kami!!! What do you think of this? It wasn't surprising to me but I was still shocked, more like a "wow they actually did it" shocked. I wasn't crazy about the movie (what are your thoughts? I'd love to hear them) so I'd like to see what someone would be able to do with the books. However, she was soooo committed to the project and loved the books. She really wanted to do them justice, you could tell how passionate she was. I'm just nervous the next director won't be that passionate and completely butcher New Moon. I could go on and on about all things Twilight so I don't want to bore you. Feel free to PM me Kami (and anyone else) if you want to really get into it I'll definitely be stopping by more when I'm all done with the semester.

Sicko GG: Episode 16!
Previously on Sicko GG:
Voice: I think it's time for you leave now. Dean: Damn you! Why must you spoil everything?
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Voice: It’s not my fault that I show up at the right moment. Lorelai: Hi, Jim. Jim: Hi, Lorelai. Dean: Enough of this! (throws the pizza to the ground) Lorelai: Hey! Why did you do that? Dean: Because my therapist wants me to relieve my anger in a non-violent way. Lorelai: But the pizza was innocent. It didn’t do anything wrong. Dean: I’m sorry, my sweetie. You shouldn’t have had to see that. I know how much you love pizza. Jim: Speaking of pizza… (he reveals a pizza box he was hiding behind his back) Dean: Gah! What is your problem? Lorelai: My hero saves the day again. Jim: I have cheesy bread too. Lorelai: You’re the perfect man. Dean: What about me? Lorelai: Eh, you’re okay. Dean: When did it come to this? There was a time when we were happy. Lorelai: Well that was before Jim showed up. Dean: I can change my name to Jim if that will make you happy. Lorelai: That would be too confusing. Dean: I could be Jim 1 and he could be Jim 2. Jim: Uhhh, Dean-o I came first so I should be 1. Dean: Of course. How foolish of me. Lorelai: How about instead of changing names you change zip codes? Dean: You want me to move?! But my sweetie! Lorelai: I think that might be for the best. *Dean whimpers like a dog* Jim: He shouldn’t have to do that. I feel sorry for him…a little bit. Dean: You do? Someone is finally showing me pity? My therapist was wrong again! Lorelai: What was he wrong about before? Dean: That I’m not special. Every night before I go to sleep, my mom tells me I am. Jim: You’re something alright. Dean: Thank you. I’ll be sure to write about this in my diary. Lorelai: Oh. You have a diary? Dean: Yes. It’s my emotional outlet. I have different colored pens for whatever mood I’m in. Like the day you chose Jim over me…I wrote very violently in red ink. It’s my catharsis. Jim: You know what else is good catharsis? Devil egging a car. Well, so I hear. Lorelai: It definitely is! I loved it. Dean: If you love it then I shall do the same. I will devil egg my car for my sweetie. I must go prepare them now. Jim: Make sure to add some paprika to the top of them. Dean: Such wisdom you have! Goodbye! *Runs off* Jim: *Opens box* Cheesy bread? Lorelai: Yes, please. *Takes a piece* When do you think he’ll finally give up? Jim: I hope soon for his mental sake. In general, I’m having way too much fun for him to quit now. Lorelai: It is fun, isn’t it?
Back in Lit land…
The Lit sirens carried Jess back to the main area. Unfortunately for him, Amber, Ines, Spence, and Mira pinched his butt every so often. He asked the other Lit sirens to stop them but they all agreed they would do the same if they were the ones carrying him.
Imy: It’s not our fault you were blessed with such a good butt. Brenda: A nice, firm hiney. Jess: Stop talking about my hiney! Pri: Never. It’s such a great discussion topic. Laura: Your uncle has a good butt too, right? Mira: Must run in the family. Jess: *to himself* I wish Luke was here. He could…distract them with his butt for a little, while mine heals.
Voice: How did we get here? Voice #2: What happened to the water? Voice #3: Oh my...

I really like the idea if incorporating categories based on the show! After all, that is what brought us all here! My only thing to bring up is that different episodes hold different emotions based on relationships people ship and all that. Because of that and the number of episodes, as Kate and others have pointed out, that could be a lot of nominations!
And I also like the idea to make categories for the VP!

I was just joking about them being boring since we haven't heard a lot from them....but it seems to have livened things up a bit! They probably are very busy, with their businesses.....and extracurricular activies as Caryn pointed out I would think they're living at the crap shack since they fixed it up (as long as Christopher's T.V. is out of there ). I really liked the house Emily picked for them but I don't know if that was still available. I'm sure if they really wanted it, Emily could bump the owners from the house like she did the Baptists on the plane There have been no rumblings, that I've heard, around the town that a little one is on the way. I heard that Kirk has been appointed to keep and extra eye and ear out for that information. Let's hope he doesn't jump to conclusions and spread false rumors! natasha: At this point, our only hope for new GG would be a T.V. movie that will hopefully happen some time in the future Thanks for the song! We haven't had one of those here in a while!

Sorry to intrude on the book club stuff... Oh yes, me and my sister can't wait for breaking dawn either. mostly so we can get together with our cousins and make a sock puppet video about it. we all hate jacob, so we're hoping he'll die. we came up with a list of 20 interesting ways to kill him. my faves were death by edward fangirls and death by force choke (from darth vader ) sry all you jacob fans out there! i come in peace ! i can absoltelly not wait til friday at midnight so i can get the book! i agree with hating jacob. just not so brutalllyy It's almost time for Breaking Dawn!!!!! I've been reading the quotes Stephenie has been sharing everyday and they just keep getting more nerve wracking! I pre-ordered the book so I have no idea if it will get to my house Saturday or Monday. I hope it's Saturday because I really don't want to wait any longer than I have to I'm also not a Jacob fan, there's something about him that really irks me. I'm Team Edward through and through!
