Carmicone, cool tip. I'll try that. And I never knew everlasting-lipstick was a possible cause for cancer. Even though I've never used it, Yikes, that's scary!
Well, there has not been a serious research about it, just that most of the everlasting lipsticks on the market lack of moisturizing ingredients, and what's worse, they usually don't contain solar filters, which may contribute to skin cancer. Cosmetic research is moving fast, and there are now some new everlasting lipsticks that incorporated ceramids (special mositurizers) and probably there is one with solar filter also.
I guess the better recomendation is: do not use everlasting lipsticks as your daily makeup in order to avoid the side effects of it. (I'm sorry if I'm too technical, but I happen to be a Chemist and my major interest is on Cosmetic Industry, that's wahy I like to do research on it)

Well, I also agree with Kelso and Brielle, what a waste of time to sign up into a forum of a show you hate... waste of time, and not so unintelligent, but incoherent (that's even worse).
And hey, you don't know us, you can't talk about people you do not even know in real life; if you don't like the show, fine, then go to some forum for "Gilmore Girl Haters" or something and don't make everyone lose their precious time reading your insults.
244  Episode Discussion / Season 5 / Re: 5.22 - A House is Not a Home on: May 01, 2006, 04:48:36 PM
I didn't like this episode much; but, walking a mile in Rory's shoes, I understand why se decided to drop out of Yale; I mean, I know what to feels like to be in love with a boy and feelling that you are not good enough for him (I'm not saying that is a good thing, in fact, I think that's horrible because love is a perfect thing, when you love someone you don't feel that way, and if that someone loves you back, doesn't make you feel inferior, or lets anyone make you feel that way -talking about Logan's family-), and what Mitchum said to her confirmed her worst thoughts: Logan's family didn't think she was good enough for him, and she just wanted to drop Yale to become a "perfect wife" for him; being a little like Emily or Shira, concerned a lot by social stuff in order to become perfect to Logan's family. Now, I'm not saying this was intelligent of her, but her reason was impaired by her emotion, and that happens a lot.
Now, what I really think she did very wrong, was to go to her grandparents for support; that was immature and unconsidered with both her mother (the most affected by this) and her grandparents, because they are only human and, despite of all their errors regarding Lorelai, they feel lonely, and they were glad to have a "daughter" back. That doesn't make the betrayal a good thing, but I'm just saying, GG characters are normal people with real life problems, and feelings too; they are not perfect but not completely evil either.
I think it was Rory's place to come clean with both her grandparents and her mother: she ought to talk to all of them together, talk to all of them about her real feelings and maybe everyone together could come up with a solution that didn't leave everybody hurt.

Granted but you will be an evil character and eventually all of the town will vote for you to move somewhere else.

I wish I could get a job by next week

Lol, lots of Hollywood produers, witters, editors, etc. have that last name. My dad and I always stay for the credits after the movies, and there's NEVER a Katz missing.
Lol, you didn't make me feel bad.
I'm glad Cheesy Apparently a lot of Artists have the same last name, I also found a violinist named Shmuel Katz
Well, I also have a little problem with my last name too, because I have a very white skin (I'm not an Albino, though), so, being my last name "Blanco" (white), people in school always made fun of me telling me: "Blanca Blanco" (something like "Whitey White)  Angry

I don't like middle names, I think one is enough. By  the way, about my last name. Is Katz a german word?
Well, I'm not german but that word sounds a lot like cat, so I looked it up and indeed, the german word for cat is "Katze", which is pretty similar to Katz, so maybe your last name is german Smiley

Oh no! I don't like it! When I was little the rest of the kids always made fun of my last name and they said "you're a cat" and I said "no, it's spelt other way!" (actually I still get that). And now they were right!
I'm so sorry! I didn't knew and I didn't meant to make you feel bad  Sad You can tell your friends that Katz is just a german last name and doesn't mean anything Wink Besides, I think someone famous had that very last name, I'll check it out for you so you can say that you have a famous last name! Wink

i totally agree w/ the whole no respect for asp anymore. if she doesnt put lor and luke back together than i will lose all respect for her. i read that she told the new writer the plans for the show and that he has written episodes before and he's going with asp's plans and her plans were to put them back together in the end. i hope to god that's true.
I hope that too. I have heard rumours also that the next season will be the last, so they totally have to put Lorelai and Luke together at the end. You know what they say, never lose hope! Cheesy

Grin
251  Gilmore Girls / General Discussion / Re: Reading Thread-- Cause it's still sexy! on: May 01, 2006, 03:23:07 PM
It took me 6. It was so crazy because I had A LOT to study those days and so I just read it in the bus, subway or while I walked. I still do that walking and reading thing, once you learn how to it's easy.
Well, I've never tried walkin and reading before, but I do tend to read in the car and everybody says that they can't do it because they get dizzy, but I don't and is a good way to spend time, specially if you are travelling to someplace that is far.
I don't remember how much it took me to read HP6, I think it was a week or so, I don't like to keep track of that  Cheesy

It takes a lot to get me really mad, but if AS-P goes down the L/C road AGAIN, I will lose all my respect for her. I already lost part of it, cause I can't believe she's leaving the show Cry
I totally agree with you, if they go once more on the Lorelai/Chris relationship it would be really disapponting, they are not good together, they were good as a couple of adolescents, but they are not mature enough together, Lorelai deserves best, I don't want Lor/Luke to break up!  Cry
