I keep odd toys on my desk at work.  I got the Racing Nuns for Christmas.  Friends seem to know I like weird tchotches.

I know who they are, but unfortunately I don't really like them.  I have a theory.  The more obsurd a band name is...the less I like them.  But that's just me.  I heard a comedian the other day on one of the XM channels and he was making fun of all these band names lately that are just numbers or exclamation points or random punctuation.  It was hilarious!  Examples would be Panic! At the Disco, Chk Chk Chk, just to name a few.  Have fun!  I am not trying to bash you, just saying that band names are odd these days.

Well they have been together for a while so I don't know if I'd classify them as being around just "these days."  I don't like Panic! though.  I think I've gotten some people to go with me to the concert.  I lent out my !!! cds to friends and I've got a small contingent going with me.  Should be fun.

I am now the owner of tickets to a !!! (chk chk chk) concert.  I'm going to the concert by myself since it seems no one I know knows who they are.  I need to get friends with better music tastes.

Isn't there a way to furn off signatures from appearing?  Some of the other forums I visit you can do that.

I've moved on to read Stephenie Meyer's 'Eclipse' book.  Almost done with it.  I need to find another good vampire book to read.

I just finished a really really  good vampire book called "Blue Bloods" It has a sequal too called "Masquerade" that I cant wait to go get!

I was about to ask if your signature referenced that series.  I saw both books at Target a few weeks ago.  I thought about picking them up but they look really thin and I'd breeze right through them.  Compared to the 'Twlight' series, how do they do?

I am currently reading 'Atonement.'  I wanted to read it before I saw the movie.

that's cool.  My gf got me a little mp3 player for my b-day and its pretty awesome.  I use it when I am on the road with work.  Can you believe my work truck does not even have a cd player or a mp3 plug in?  The horror!!!  I put on my ear phones and away I go!  You got a mini mini!  that is gnarly!

Same as Augustus, I don't like iTunes, don't like the price gouging for something you can get much cheaper with more storage and more functions, better customer service, etc.  I can go on and on.  I'm just not a fan of Apple in general.  There are plenty of people out there who don't like them.

I got a Zune for Christmas.  I am not a fan of iPods.  Anyway, the day before I go on vacation I manage to drop and break my old mp3 player but it just so happens that my brother got me the Zune as a present.  He gave it to me before I boarded the plane.  I also got myself a RC mini MINI Cooper.  It's charging up on my desk right now.  I have to take some pictures of it.

I didn't know them.  My friends and I went to a big bash in downtown Orlando.  We stopped people who we thought had cool costumes.  There are more pictures in my MoBlog (link is in my signature) under the Halloween set.

I remember that show.  Very annoying but very popular in 1996 I believe.  I remember my Senior year trip we went to FAO Schwartz in NYC and those toys were everywhere.  The show seemed to always be on too.

It may only be over for the year.  The headline makes it sound more dramatic than it really is.  'Desperate Housewives' may also be done for this year since they were in the middle of filming stuff.  They don't have anything else in the can.

Maybe this hiatus will give the scribes for 'Heroes' some time to right this season which has fallen flat on its butt.

Collective Soul is coming to town in the middle of the month.  Going to get tickets to that concert.  I've seen them a few times already and they are one of my favorite bands.  Sucks that they started out so strong and are now kinda struggling.

I also have my Spoon concert on Friday.  Really, REALLY looking forward to that.

I also just got a Gotan Project cd.  I already have most of the songs on my computer but I wanted the actual cd and insert so I got it.

I think we are all going to have to let go of the Luke persona if we are ever going to be comfortable seeing Scott Patterson in another role.  He plays a working-class middle-American father.  We can't hold on to the flannel wearing man he used to play.  He's expanding his repertoire.
