1  Gilmore Girls / Show and Cast Member News / Re: Alexis Bledel to Guest Star on ER on: March 02, 2009, 04:00:43 am
This is good news for Alexis. The final episode will be huge.

Finally seen the very last episode of this wonderful series. I'm not ashamed to admit it made me cry. You could feel both Rory and Lorelai's loss and sadness and I loved the last scene in Luke's diner. Just as it should be.

Do we know if they are definitely showing all 7 seasons? I've only seen up to series 5 with Hallmark but GG doesn't seem to be on E4 after next Tuesday. Anyone know what is going on? I was getting sooo excited too watching the first episodes of season 6 ...

5  Gilmore Girls / Show and Cast Member News / Re: Alexis in new movie on: December 09, 2007, 05:26:42 am
Further news on this movie:

Alexis Beledel’s latest movie, previously titled "Ticket To Ride", and now titled "The Post-Grad Survival Guide", will begin shooting on Monday in LA.

Alexis Bledel will be joined by a fabulous cast including Zach Gilford (’Friday Night Lights’) as her love interest! Also cast are Michael Keaton, Carol Burnett and Rodrigo Santoro.

Bledel will play the lead role of Ryden Malby, a girl who must move back home to her eccentric family after graduating from college. Ryden looks for a job, tries to meet the right guy and to figure out where her life is going. Though details on all characters have not yet been released, Santoro is cast to be a neighbor of Ryden’s - an informercial director, friend and confidant.

I don't know why you are mad at Alexis. Both Alexis and Lauren were relieved when the show was over. It was time for them to move on, and it is time for the fans to do so too and accept their decision.  I'm getting more than a little cross at the way Alexis is being maligned by 'so called' fans.

However, it was the network who ultimately decided that there was to be no more Gilmore Girls. Yes, the network, not Alexis, not Lauren. I personally hope there will be a movie in the future, but if there isn't I wish both girls success and thanks for the years that they did give me Gilmore Girls.

Alexis Bledel has signed on for a new movie called "Ticket to Ride." The college comedy will be directed by Vicky Jenson (of ‘Shrek’). The screenplay was written by Kelly Fremon.

The "Gilmore Girls" star will play Ryden Malby, a college grad who is forced to move back into her childhood home with her eccentric family while she attempts to find a job, the right guy and some direction for her life.

"Ticket to Ride" will begin filming in December with a $15 million budget. Tom Pollock is executive producer.

The guy in the black t-shirt is apparently Alexis' boyfriend. She is also pictured with him in New York the other day. Anybody know who he is?

9  Gilmore Girls / Show and Cast Member News / Re: It's Here: Lauren Graham's Final Gilmore Girls Interview - 05.06.07 on: May 07, 2007, 04:02:24 am
Yes, thanks for posting this. It tells everybody straight what has happened (and poor Alexis who has been so maligned, has been cleared). The two girls are exhausted at the amount of work they carry as lead actresses and while they have tried to give the fans more, at the end of the day, it wasn't possible for Gilmore Girls to work as a shorter season. Especially for the network.

Great interview with Lauren, I will miss GG and I wish both Lauren and Alexis well for their future projects.

I've been reading a lot of criticism of Lauren and in particular Alexis over the ending of our show. I would like to say now, that I think it is very unjustified and everybody should be thanking them for giving us a brilliant show over the last 7 years. It is a very long time in somebody's life and especially for Alexis who was so young when she started. I hope they carry on being successful actresses and achieve their dreams.

I don't believe it has anything to do with Lauren and Alexis wanting more money. Ausiello stated at the wrap party that cast and crew were under the impression that the show would be back for a shorter season. It had all been agreed but they had yet to sign. It doesn't make any sense that after they had made their decision they would then haggle over more money. This is about the CW. They felt they needed Gilmore Girls, but after reaction to new pilots, they have decided they don't. I remember this time last year, the CW treating Charmed, and the cast who had been loyal for 8 seasons, very badly.

In this weeks Ask Ausiello, Michael states that the Gilmore Girl renewal talks have stalled and there is very little chance of them being renewed. He said that we should get ready to say goodbye.  Cry

It appears that the reunion was just a rumour.  Cry

There have been loads of pics recently of the Rocky premieres and Milo is alone. So Alexis must be well out of the picture.

Saw this on FanForum

I'm sorry everyone but I guess the sighting was just a rumor:

From Qbert: Heroes! Now!
How about a little old-school goss? One of my partners in crime hit a Heroes-tastic charity event for the Pediatric Epilepsy Project (Greg Grunberg—my hero—has a son who battles the condition) and started asking a totally innocent question about about Milo Ventimiglia's (Peter Petrelli) onscreen girlfriend. She got about as far as "girlfriend" when Milo volunteered, "I'm single!" So, Alexis and Milo: Off again? What say ye? Discuss in the comments section below!

I emailed Hallmark yesterday to find out when the sixth season of GG will be shown. Bad news everyone. There are no plans to show it. They said they would run reruns, but to check later in the year to see if their plans have changed. I am so annoyed by this.

Thank you  Smiley I hope this is true. From pics we've seen of them in the past, they always looked like they were very happy together.
