Try www.gilmoregirlsnews.com as well.  I know that last weeks episode is on there now and they always have lots of promos and directors cuts, too.

lorelaisgirl on FanForum has created a transcript of the latest TV Guide podcast (April 20) with Ausiello, Daniel Manu, Angel Cohn and Maitland McDonagh.

Here are some very exciting portions related to Gilmore Girls Season 8:

DM: And some other big news in our little bubble was news that Mr. Ausiello broke. About Gilmore Girls and a possible shortened 8th season.
MA: I think we can change it to likely at this point.
DM: Well that’s news, because a lot of people were wondering about, you know, how likely is it. You mention it is a possibility; someone actually wrote in saying that ‘a friend of mine, an intern at the WB,—
AC: CW
DM: —says they’re tearing down the sets as we speak’.
AC: Oh. Warner Bros.
DM: Yeah, ‘they’re tearing down the sets as we speak.’
MA: Well, anything is possible, I mean, until a deal is signed. And nothing is certain. However, at this wrap party on Sunday night, everyone was talking about it as if it was a done deal. You know, it wasn’t a done deal, but there was no signature, but I guess the feeling is, it’s just now paperwork.
DM: Interesting.
MA: But I’m not gonna go ahead and declare that it’s definitely coming back, because, you know, Lauren could change her mind at the last minute.

Here’s a great answer regarding whether or not Alexis Bledel would be featured strongly in Season 8:

MA: Well, I think— I don’t think Alexis Bledel is the hold up. Ultimately it’s gonna come down to Lauren. I think Lauren is gonna base her decision on what Alexis decides. Like, if Alexis says “I’ll do 8th episodes”, Lauren has to decide “is that enough for me to wanna come back?” I really think that’s how it’s gonna come down. I really think the final person is gonna be, it’s riding all on Lauren, you know. My feeling is that if they come back for 13 episodes, Alexis will probably in all of them.

If we go to Season 8, there is no guarantee David Rosenthal would continue on as the main guy.

So, we’ll see!!

18  Gilmore Girls / Show and Cast Member News / Re: GG Marathon Sunday, April 29 starting at 2:00 PM on ABC Family on: April 19, 2007, 06:26:12 am
Thanks for the heads-up.  It has been awhile since ABC Family ran a marathon.  I was hoping one was coming up.  From the line-up on the website, it looks like there are going to be some good episodes!

I don't think Logan has met many of Stars Hallow's residents either.  A lot of time in Rory and Logan's relationship was spent in Hartford or at Yale.

I agree.  They should give her what she wants and have her end the show with her (what was it-four?) words.

This sounds like a compromise that may work for all involved.  I doubt ASP would be on board, but you never know.  That would be the best way to truly end this series-with the vision of it's creator.

Exclusive: Gilmore Mulls Shortened Season
By Michael Ausiello
April 15th, 2007

Negotiations to bring Gilmore Girls back for an eighth season took a veddy interesting turn on Friday. According to multiple sources embedded deep inside Stars Hollow, Lauren Graham — she on which all things hinge — is allegedly warming to the idea of returning for a shortened season, a la Friends and Everybody Loves Raymond.

Word of this condensed scenario was "the talk of the set" on Friday, one day before shooting on the show’s current season was scheduled to wrap. My spy was quick to add, however, that nothing’s official and it’s very possible this whole thing could unravel before anything’s signed. One thing seems clear though: this little nail-biter is speeding toward a climax.

Is there any chance that Lauren is pregnant?  I was just looking at the pics of her in the green and black striped dress...she looks bigger in certain areas than usual.

With Chris and Lorelai sleeping together in the last episode, there is definatly the possibility of a "whose baby is it?" storyline.  I just think it would be too complicated of a storyline.  Sounds a little to Jerry Springer to have a place on GG.  Well hope for Liz.  Paris as a mother is a story line in itself...

Did anyone notice that Jimmy's (Bio dad of Jess) girlfriend and Anna (Lukes ex) are played by the same actress?   She now has long brown hair and looks very different, but it is her.
