one of the fundamental plotlines of season 8 (if it would have been done) would have been rory & logan back together in an uberromantic sequence with rory singing "i will always love you" in the democratic party convention after-party with a toasted bill & hillary and barack and bucketloads of kennedy's in the audience all cheering for rory as she is making her very very romantic serenade while all the lifeguards of bill&hillary carries rory to her beloved logan and they all stand there like there wasn't anything more important to do in the world. and then, they crown them the champions of the world and rory & logan marries and have the most beautiful kids in the world and then their kids will reign the world and then bunnies & unicorns will jump around on fields.....
edit... was that a bit to much sarcasm?
There's no such thing a unicorns, silly! Everything else sounds about right.

They certainly must have had an inkling that the show wasn't going to be renewed as they ended it with the same shot the pilot episode ended with: with the camera on them eating dinner at the diner.
I wasn't impressed with the Emily and Richard scenes; especially Emily's.
I liked how Luke and Loreli got back together and it was a private moment.
I am really glad the show didn't just end there. I was hoping it would end with L and R and it did; with Luke in the background too!
I am glad she didn't end up with Logan. They kind of left that up in the air; but, hey, that's life. You never know what's going to happen.
It was a nice, sweet send off. I am sad to see it go. There is nothing on TV right now that is as funny, witty or charming. Even at its worst, Gilmore Girls was still the best.

Im so excited for this episode but im also dreading it! I dont want to see them go and this doesnt really seem like an ending to the show! It's like they rushed it just to make it fit. I wish Rory and Logan were together, wjhy did they do that?-I could have been happy!
It totally feels rushed. They could've at least done 2 more episodes to raise it to 24 episodes; or a 2 hour finale!

10.26pm:Atop his head! Nice seeing her in the school uniform again. Great episode; the dialogue was quick and funny, and there was Laine! 10.48pm "She's a Whitney fan?" "I think it's Dolly inspired." I will always love you. Great scene.

"Rory brings Logan home to see where she grew up, but there's tension in the air between him and Lorelai."
Hasn't Logan been to Stars Hollow before? Surely he has??? This sounds like an old episode!

Yes, Lane in labour would've been awesome. There were some great comedic moments between Mrs Kim and Lane lost there. Oh well. Maybe they'll do a memory episode next week; perhaps Lane can tell Rory what happened and they'll have flashbacks?

I'm half way through and I'm LOVING IT! Funny, funny, FUNNY! My three favourite characters in a car together, all that interacting. Love it. x
Update: Wasn't Mia like in her 60s or so when she first appeared a few seasons ago? I'm glad Rory put Logan in his place. She needed to do that and he needed to hear it.
Update 2: I liked Logan's apology moment and the fact he quit his job at his dad's company.
Update 3: Good ending. I liked seeing them all together on the bed.

I adored this episode!! It was a nice balance of comedy and drama. There were pop culture references, nice moments between different characters and back and forth dialogue. It felt like GG of past seasons! As the season goes on, the episodes get better and better. There's no complaints over here Ditto. x

I'm really surprised that Paris and Doyle left the apartment unlocked. All 10 locks. That seemed a little strange to me, since it contradicts how they reacted to their unlocked door before.
Totally! I put it down to how relaxed yoga has made them. Or, the writers had to figure out a way to make Lor just walk in and find them yoga-ing.

I liked it! The first 20 min were spot on old-school Gilmore Girls. The scenes between Lor and Emily were especially good. The maid and nurse moments were funny and added some nice quirk. Am I the only one who groans whenever they see TJ and Luke's sister? Borrring. Good episode!

Great episode. Subtle.
The Michel side-story was funny. GG is very much a character-driven show; plot is not always necessary, and a funny side-stories like Michel's are what make this show great for me.
'Maybe we can get them to get tatoos. It'll be like we branded them'. LOL!
I like the way Chris and Lor broke up. Both were honest. I'm glad that Chris didn't all of a sudden start liking Luke; that would've been pathetic. At least this way he still has some ba lls.
