I don't have any GG merch! I've always wanted some though. I've been looking for a poster on Ebay but couldn't find any! And I really want t-shirts. So is cafepress the best place to look?

I'd go with cafepress but i'm a little bias Smiley Seriously though, it would be the cheapest option and they have so much to choose from! Feel free to check out my store while you're there, i've just added a whole bunch of GG stuff and more for the other shows too. URL is in my pic on the left.

I noticed you guys talking about purchasing stuff from Cafe Press a few pages ago so I thought i'd jump in and say that I own a store on the site that sells Gilmore girls related stuff and a whole bunch of other shows too. Feel free to stop by and take a look, or even buy something Smiley

The store is called I Shall Believe: www.cafepress.com/ishallbelieve

My friend bought me the Yale jumper from the official GG store, it's awsome! I only wish they sold more stuff and were not so expensive!

Where's PI?? Sorry if that's a stupid question.

I live in Australia so I feel your pain but the shipping costs for Cafe Press are pretty reasonable compared to other stuff i've purchased from the US. It's actually not that much more than our interstate postage costs here anyway so ehh.

We're adding new Friends desgins on the site, but if there's nothing that you like feel free to email us and give us an idea of what you would like on a shirt and one of us will be able to make it for you. That goes for any of the shows we have on there and some we don't but actually watch. It doesn't hurt to ask anyway.

I use to make my own t-shirts, heaps of fun but the print usually wears off after a while. I only recently opened an online shop through Cafe Press with a friend where we sell our designs on their clothes, great quality printing on a variety of items and they're reasonably priced. We're still working on more so check back every now and again to find new stuff. We're also working on stuff for different shows like Veronica Mars, Alias, Kim Possible, Friends etc.

I wonder if ch.9 will actually get through the whole season this time without stopping it half way again. It has a really crap time slot too, how many people are home at 4.30pm on a sunday?! I'm always working so I miss it, not that I can stand to watch it with ads anyway, the dvds saved my life!

I love Lor's train of thought, hilarious!! Now that would have been a hard sentence to remember!

The part where she's posting the letter felt like she was feeling releaved that Luke will know how much she meant to her and Rory,  and what she wrote was very sweet.

As heartrenching as season 6 was i think it's great material to make videos from, there's so many ways you can go, it's fantastic! I know how angry all the java junkies are but in retrospect it's been an interesting test for Luke and Lorelai, we got to see different sides of the characters and many of their flaws. I'm really anxious to see how everything will pan out... at least it will make a good video Smiley

Oh, and white onyx, can't wait to see your video! If you keep on practising they will get easier to make and obviously won't take as long. I'll give you a challenge if you need some motivation!

What program did you use to make your video anyway? I always use windows movie maker, very straight foward and it makes the videos in either full screen or wide screen, not those tiny ones that you can hardly see half the time. You also said that the video size was huge, how big was it? I usually make mine between 30 to 40mb, if you go over either way the quality is affected. I like to keep things professional Smiley

I know they take ages but that's the best part, seeing the end product from all the hard work you've put in. It usually takes me about 2 days to do a video plus the planning time- printing off lyrics, working out which way i want to go and matching scenes with the words. I don't try to rush that part because i usually think of different stuff to do when i go and do something else.

Music videos are my passion, i love them. I think if you put in the work you will get satisfaction from it, nothing is worth doing if it's not done well, rushing causes errors.

Do you have a link to your video?? I think you said it was in this thread but can you post it again?

I'm also really into making java junkie videos, they're my specialty. I have made 3 different jj ones, the first one i ever made was about Lor really saying to Luke that 'you can trust me, i'll be around, don't leave me out of this' after the introduction of April.

The second was really just from season 4, really fluffy and the other one that i made took me a little longer because i put a lot of work into it, i used the song 'the scientist' by Coldplay and that was just season 6 stuff, it's really hard to explain but if you're going to watch any of my vids then please watch that one because i like it the most (hope that didn't sound too egotistic, lol).

I made one about Max & Lor (it's not a shipper one, you have to see it to understand), that's the newest one and i've also done 2 Rory & Logan (personally not a shipper of them), the first one was really me just bagging their relationship and the second one was a request from a shipper which i made for her.

I'm now working on a new java junkie one with the song 'you and me' by Lifehouse, i think it will be more from Luke POV from the end of season 4 to the start or season 5. I'm trying to make it interesting though, i need to do something different. I think the easier songs take longer to plan than the harder ones because it takes more effort to make them interesting.

What you guys do is really interesting, i've never seen anything like it before. You're already half way there to make a music video, you've got all your scenes and story line, i think they would all make fantastic videos.

I think your ideas are limited by still photos though, there's so much more you can to with actualy footage and it doesn't take an IT degree to make a video. I'm not that great with computers and i still managed to teach myself, although i did need a little guidence at the begining because i didn't really have any idea where to start but once i got going i became addicted and i try to do something different with every video.

If you want to have a look at some of the stuff i've made as well as other Gilmore girls music videos that Luce made (the other judge who owns the fallen snow and pistachio liploss site) check out this site: http://pistachio-lipgloss.net/ggmusic.html

The ones that i made have 'submitted by Nat' at the bottom of video information. I'd love to see what you guys thought, i don't ever really get any feedback from people.

I think she uses multible ones, whatever fits her dress.
I saw her using the motorola pink RAZR once. Itīs dark pink, though.
I donīt know from what company her light pink one is.

I think the light pink one was like a baby phatl one or something like that, and it's also quite expensive, i've seen it in this thread a while ago... one the first page but i don't think they sell it anymore, i just had a look and i couldn't find it on the baby phat site.

While i'm already typing, does anyone know what brand the dress Lorelai wears in season 3 where she's in the 24 hour dance marathon?? I couldn't find anything before season 4 on the reel-tv website, although i think that it might be vintage or something like that. Not that i could really afford a dress like that, i was just interested.
15  Gilmore Girls / General Discussion / Re: the episode which made u cry. on: March 20, 2006, 01:27:15 AM
I just remembered another two; one when Rory was gone and Lorelai went and sat at the end of Rory's bed and threw the water bottle against the wall, and the other one when Paul Anka was sick and Lorelai says to Luke that she thinks she's a bad mother (Lorelai was crying at the time).
