I agree, I love finding new musicians. Of course, some of them aren't exactly what I feel like, and some I come back to later and find I really enjoy more than before. Then there are the ones which I love straight away.  Smiley

You we're right. I'm Brie by the way. I don't think we've met. And if we have, and I just don't remember, I'm sorry. I seem to do that alot lately, not remember ing and such.

So, my horribble day started with the fudge, then moved on to one of my mother's new pans getting something cooked to the bottom on, and having som of the teflon come off, and me getting yelled at. Then, My books didn't come into the library, and the librarian got fired, not that I'll miss her, she was a witch. Then I hurt my knee, got yelled at by my mom, dropped a pan of cookies on the floor, and last but not least, my application that I worked five hours on deleted it's self!! I am so pissed.

But I did find a third reference!!! yay!!! That reminds me... I still got to talk to Josh, I miss him, and he's another of my references.

Amber~ Glad your day went so well! See, I told you. Everything happens for a reason, and something good came out of it!! PEople should listen to me more often!

Rory~ Glad your day was ok, mine was crap, as you know now.

Wow, that's kind of scary! I wasn't even being serious...

It sounds like a pretty crappy day, maybe you should have a break from the cooking for a while? Tongue

And no, we have not met, so hi!  Grin

Hopefully my stint at making pancakes later doesn't end up on the floor... Undecided

Well, I put in my contribution.  Grin

Fingers crossed that it leads to something when it gets sent!

Thanks!  Cheesy

Currently, I'm not having the best day (it's still only 10:15am), but I'm making pancakes later so that will hopefully redeem from the bad this morning... Tongue

Thanks for the welcomes!

I have always wanted to go to Australia.  I'm thinking about studying abroad there, not 100% sure yet.  haha, and I like rambling because I tend to do it. Wink

That's cool! I have two words that will make you 100% sure: you should!  Tongue

 Shocked And a rambler! Huzzah!

Haha...
952  Gilmore Girls / General Discussion / Re: Does this writer have any idea who these characters are? on: December 07, 2007, 02:56:23 PM
I honestly don't find this season to be too bad, considering the departure of Amy.

There have been a few missteps, and there have been some moments where it hasn't been the best of acting (Alexis, I'm looking in your direction) but it's still a joy to watch. Yeah, it does have a different tone to the rest of the series and yeah, there have been some out-of-character moments but I find these problems are really minor.

But really, I don't think I dislike any Gilmore Girls episodes, so I might just be easy to entertain...  Tongue

You know, that's a beginning of a bad day if your fudge doesn't turn out right.  Tongue

That reminds me, need to buy fudge... Cheesy

Yeah, I'm not one for much of the mainstream side of things either. People, like my sister for instance, look through the cd's I have and almost every single one she's like, "Who's that?"

She never actually bothers to listen to them because she has no idea what it is.  Roll Eyes
955  Gilmore Girls / General Discussion / Re: Being a Gilmore Guy on: December 07, 2007, 12:50:14 AM
Unlike a lot of posts in the forum (for some reason) I am a guy and am not really shy about when it comes to me liking Gilmore Girls. I voice it regularly, without being too metro about it, and actually like the show for genuine reasons:

It's a modern yet simplistically honest and realistic show.
It has heart and emotions.
It is wholesome and clean.
The characters are great and are incomparable to those in any other show on the air.
It is sophisticated and fun.

Exactly, I agree completely. Plus, it's extremely funny and witty. How can anyone not love that?

I'm trying to get one of my friends (who is a guy) to like it, but I have a feeling that he wouldn't get it much because it doesn't really suit his style of humour. Although he seems to find Lorelai's Louis Armstrong impersonation hilarious. (I do too  Tongue)

I'm not a huge worrier about the romantic side of things (okay, maybe a little?), but it's the characters that I love and have come to adore.

Welcome, welcome!

To state the obvious, I am new and I'd like to take the time to introduce myself to you all.  Grin

...And yes, I am male.  Shocked  Wink

I live in the sunny outback of Australia (really, it's horrible, I'm hoping to move back to the coast sometime soon), and have been a fan of Gilmore Girls for a couple of years. Of course, I had seen bits of it here and there when I was younger (my mum is a fan), and I thought it was pretty funny. It was the main reason I bought the DVD's when they were released. I also acquired the region 1 DVD of season seven (who knows when it will come out in Aus?), and while it feels slightly different because of Amy leaving, it still is great.  Grin

Plus, Alexis is cute.  Wink

Anyway, I've kind of rambled on...a little too much perhaps?

See you all around!  Cheesy
